hope deferred

Do you ever just have hope for something that just doesn’t seem to come to pass no matter what you do? Well that’s the boat I am inn. I have to keep telling myself that God knows the desires of my heart–but then I also am ultimately desiring God’s will in the midst of it. What if my desire and His will do not line up? Then all I am doing is playing tug-o-war in the spirit realm and end up having a sick heart because of it…it’s a paradox.

Proverbs 13:12
12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes,  it is a tree of life.

  1. Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

This is my prayer for you Amy. As a matter of fact the entire Chapter is a pretty good effective prayer.

Our hope is not deferred for in Acts Chapter 2…When the day of Pentecost was fully come….just take a look at that Amy for the Spirit has fully come….look up fully come …the word has an interesting reference in its meaning….it refers to the Spirit coming like a boat that is swamped…you said you were in the boat….we’ll if the boat was filling up with water….the natural thing would be to bail out…but spiritually God is saying to you just let the Spirit wash over you for the depths you allow yourself to go in the Spirit will determine the heights in which God’s hand can pull you into.
